Family child care providers will learn about APPLES newly developed curriculum resource, An Apple a Day Keeps Children at Play. This resource provides activities using the Creative Curriculum for FCC Framework and Maryland early learning standards for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Participants will practice writing lesson plans using the resource and their own activities. Must take Planning Lessons That Meet Children's Needs: Part 1 prior to taking Part 2.

Participants will discuss a variety of ways to involve families in their child care program and how to individualize plans to meet children’s needs.
