Maryland EXCELS: Getting to Level 2

In this workshop participants will become familiar with Maryland EXCELS Standards and will learn how to interpret them. Participants will also learn how to meet level 2 criteria.

Maryland EXCELS: Level 3: The Benefits of Aiming for Higher Quality

In this workshop participants will analyze the documentation needed for level 3 in each of the five content areas, explore the process of self-assessment and design an effective program improvement plan. Participants will also evaluate the benefits of Tiered Reimbursement. COK: 2 hours Professionalism

Medication Administration

Medication Administration Core of Knowledge:  6 hours Health, Safety, Nutrition Please bring a bagged lunch. The class will not break for lunch.  This will be a working lunch.  Mandated MSDE/OCC training to learn all aspects of safely administering medication in your child care setting.  Suitable for those serving children of all ages.    The participants per class is limited to 15.    This course currently does not expire and can transfer to any center/home in the State of Maryland.
