Using Emotion Language with Young Children

This workshop explains how using emotion language promotes young children’s social and emotional development.  Participants will be introduced to a variety of strategies to use in their early childhood program and will create a resource to use immediately.  Participants will explore their own possible biases and discover how to use an anti-oppressive approach to emotion language which will support all children.
