This class will focus on important lesson plan terminology, including theme, objective and goal and the basic principles of developmentally appropriate practice. The class will also explore the following objectives:
- differentiation and inclusion.
- the importance of observation and the role that it plays when planning lessons.
- review of major elements of writing a lesson plan (theme, goal and objective, learning domains)
- the importance of and ways to include parent involvement.
- the meaning and benefits of team teaching.
