  1. Is this training mandatory? Yes, it is. All child care staff, providers, volunteers and substitutes must complete this training by March 31, 2021.
  2. How much does the training cost? The training is free and only available on MSDE website.
  3. How long is the training? The training is approximately 1.5 hours long and doesn't have to be completed in one sitting. Complete the training anytime during 6 days of your course.

  • FDA is warning consumers and health care providers that the agency has seen a sharp increase in hand sanitizer products that are labeled to contain ethanol (also known as ethyl alcohol) but that have tested positive for methanol contamination. Methanol, or wood alcohol, is a substance that can be toxic when absorbed through the skin or ingested and can be life-threatening when ingested.
