The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics was developed by Bruce D. Perry, M.D, Ph.D. to bring critical understanding of how to treat traumatized children based on the knowledge of how their brains grow and develop. His model is now being used by a variety of childcare professionals and residential treatment centers all over the world.

This presentation will share how early childhood professionals can use the Neurosequential Model  in their daily curriculum and in partnership with the school and community therapeutic web. Steve Graner, ChildTrauma Academy Fellow, will model NME principles as he teaches using music, movement, rhythm, and other sensory exercises that teachers may employ as they seek to help all students better understand and deal with the effects of trauma.
