Early Childhood Training Content Developer - Independent Contractor
APPLES for Children, Inc. is an approved training organization through Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Office of Child Care. Individuals interested in developing professional development opportunities on behalf of APPLES are considered independent contractors and must understand children, child development, the business of child care, and how to utilize resources that reflect current early childhood research.

Current Rate of Pay
$300 for a complete and approved 2 hour training
$500 for a complete and approved 3 hour training
Early Childhood Trainer - Independent Contractor
APPLES for Children, Inc. seeks individuals interested in facilitating both in-person and virtual training on an as needed basis.
Trainers MUST meet COMAR 13a.14.08.05.htm to be considered.
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- At least 4 years of experience working in a child care setting directly with children
AND
- Completion of Train-the-Trainer approved course (click here for approved courses)
- Attendance at MSDE trainer orientation (click here to access orientation dates)
