Communities are increasingly more diverse and the needs of the families representing that diversity must be recognized and supported. This training will define diversity and identify program planning considerations and family engagement strategies to help child care providers offer well-rounded and responsive care and education. Children experience optimal growth, learning and development when their child care providers are responsive and supportive of their backgrounds and families’ values.
