Participants will be able to define “developmentally appropriate practice” and describe how this term applies to infant and toddler care.
Participants will be able to plan daily routines and experiences (curriculum) that support infant and toddler development throughout the day.
Participants will be able to identify uses for Healthy Beginnings in their work with infants/toddlers and their families.
Participants will be able to describe how developmentally appropriate practice relates to working with children with special needs and/or diverse family cultures.
